Gameboy 3-D Bead Sprite by DrOctoroc Gameboy 3-D Bead Sprite by DrOctoroc
A 3-D beadsprite of the vintage Nintendo Gameboy. Actual size of the original, with the exception of the buttons which are scaled up slightly due to the limited increments of the medium. Tetris is on the screen.

Indeed. At the time I made it, Perler did not offer a dark grey for the screen border and details, nor a light grey for the main body, so I was forced to use the middle grey for the body and a periwinkle blue for the details and screen border.

They're interlocking pieces, like those Puzz 3-D Foam puzzles of famous landmarks. I just design all the faces with "notched" edges so they fit together like that.

Yeah, its kind of hard to represent super mario land with 9x10 pixels (beads) so I went with Tetris instead. Actually, that's the first 3-D piece that went together with no issues. Usually a piece or two snaps off but that one--golden!

I've never seen a 3d hama bead piece! It's interesting to see the way you've made it and the technique to building it! This is ace definitely going in my faves!
