Description
A Solidworks render of the Doctor's confessional dial, opened. View the closed version here: droctoroc.deviantart.com/art/D…
You can grab yourself one of two 3d printed versions of this model below. They are printed in a plain, white nylon plastic that will require some assembly and painting to look the part. I recommend prepping the model with a coat of varnish, then a metallic black base coat followed by another layer of varnish, then a dry brushed brass/bronze metallic top coat and a final coat of varnish. For the orb inside of the full version, paint a gold base coat followed by dry brushing a black/blue top coat, then go back in with gold to finish off the recessed details. This is essentially how I paint all my 3d printed props.
Full version, with interior details, in four parts: www.shapeways.com/product/DAFN…
Simple, unopened version, in two parts: www.shapeways.com/product/28QE…
I also have other Doctor Who props, including the 3rd and 7th Doctor TARDIS keys: www.shapeways.com/shops/doctor…
